Now that Spider - Man is on his own , Spider - Man 4and its sequels will likely focus on his dealing with criminal offence throughout New York City . This is the perfect setup for Kingpin to be the major overarching villain of the trilogy . The base laid byDaredeviland his surprise return inHawkeyeleave him in a place where he stands to pose a major terror to the bulwark - sycophant .
Despite his arrest inDaredevilseason 3 , Kingpinhas managed to evade the law for so long in the MCU because of how many authorities and high up - rank officials he has in his pouch . His rejoinder inHawkeyeall but confirms that to still be the case and potential to continue if he remains in great power . This will propose Spider - Man a particularly punishing challenge , similar to what Daredevil face in his series , as he fence with Kingpin . As of now , there is no substantiation that a new Spider - Man trilogy is happening , allow aloneSpider - valet 4.Hawkeye ’s finale even leave Kingpin ’s destiny currently in question . And sinceSpider - mankind : No Way Home ’s post - creditsscene sets up a time to come for the symbiote , it ’s likely Venom is set to be the main baddie . However , given the history between both characters , if the novel trilogy happens , the MCU would be remiss not to admit Kingpin in some capacity .
