While there is no unmortgaged show ofDaredevil in theSpider - Man : No Way Hometrailer , there is a quality who many think could be him . too soon in the trailer , when Peter is being question at the police place , there ’s a figure in a lily-white shirt with a black railroad tie whose face is largely unobserved ; glimpsed only in side visibility from a distance , and then in a much clearer shot but with his cheek not in view , it ’s led to a batch of speculation that this is indeed Matt Murdock . Unfortunately as thing stand , it ’s unsufferable to confirm either way whether it is or is n’t Daredevil , but some of the pieces do at least fit .
IfMatt Murdock is inSpider - Man : No Way Home , then the most likely reason would be as Peter ’s lawyer ; he ’s want for the murder of Mysterio after all , and having Matt work to help clear his name would make sentience . The obscure profile does loosely match Cox ’s appearance too , though it ’s at such a distance and unclear opinion that it does n’t amount to any real evidence , and also the shirt and arms surely could be his , but it ’s unvoiced to be sure . Peter and whoever is with him are last through a crowd of grammatical case single file in the scenery , which further supports the impression that this is Matt , although the way he quite sharply switch them down ( while not whole out of character ) could mean this soul is instead questioning Peter , rather than serving as his lawyer .
SinceCox ’s takings inSpider - Man : No Way Homeisn’t official , then it ’s well-situated to see why Sony would require to keep him hide , if indeed this is him at all . TheNo Way Hometrailer does n’t reveal Garfield or Maguire either , rather keeping its focus on the ingredient that have been confirmed previously : Doctor Strange , Doc Ock , and the Multiverse . Matt Murdock appearing in this scene , or one very similar to it , would accommodate in what ’s known of the narrative for help clear Peter ’s name , and will undoubtedly be a huge hand if / when it ’s revealed , but there ’s no certainty that is ( or indeed , is n’t ) him in the trailer .
