This does n’t stand for that all the characters should be keep on , though , because the show can benefit by pass out with the old and in with the … old ? That ’s right , Grey ’s Anatomyhas had so many characters as fixture that there ’s a lot of elbow room to bring in former character back . to do so , the series should control its mould by permit some go , and here are 5 character we wish would leave and 5 we want back .
Want Back: Izzie Stevens
It ’s high time we get closure for Izzie ’s plot line , because fan are still go for for her to make a counter even though she ’s been off the show for ten geezerhood . SinceGrey ’s Anatomyis expected to last at least another two years , Izzie does n’t need to be brought back just to wrap up things up .
As the actress will be free shortly sinceSuitsis ending , Izzie can get along back permanently on the show . Ideally , this should direct into Izzie and Alex ’s story having a definite progression toward an ending , rather than a hushed one we had in Season 6 .
Should Leave: Jo Karev

Teddy should never have returned in the first situation , as her loss in Season 8 had been very well done . She and Owen were one friendship that had n’t been wrench because of dramatic event , but we ’re at that compass point where they ’ve become parent .
Now that thing have function so far , you could be certain the show is only go to give them further problems that will ruin the current situation she and Owen have . It ’s better to simply lease her go with one actual glad close , because otherwise you could be sure it ’s only going to get bad for her .
Want Back: April Kepner

Callie and Arizona were always give away up and get back together , which made their departure feel hollow and incomplete . Since this clip Arizona wo n’t be return , it would be in effect to see Callie have a wise start back in Seattle where we can see her finalize with a permanent love interest .
Should Leave: Owen Hunt
It pains us to say it , but Owen has outlived his usefulness onGrey ’s Anatomy . He was ab initio reliant on Cristina for relevance , but his “ nice bozo ” character made him likable and we were invested in him obtain unexampled love .
Now that he does have that in Teddy and the small fry he had craved for so long , Owen ’s narration is complete and there ’s no need to keep him on .
