There are several Christmas - themed episodes ofGrey ’s Anatomy , although it ’s emphatically truthful that at times , the persona are present such serious cataclysm that being merry seems like the last affair on their minds . The vacation season can bear some deplorable thought and memory for many people and not all of theGrey’scharacters derive from stable and happy families .
Withconfusing patient at the hospitaland some convoluted storyline , Grey ’s Anatomyisn’t always stark , and the main characters are n’t unflawed , either . If Meredith Grey and her coworkers / friends were invited to a big holiday political party , some would be ideal guests and others would rather work than look .
Invite Over: Maggie Pierce
Maggie sometimes seems like she ’s on a different show as she ’s much more cheerful and optimistic than everyone else . While her half - sister Meredith is surly and sometimes ego - centered , Maggie is a sweet citizenry - pleaser .
Maggie would be a perfect someone to invite over for the holidays , as she would contrive ahead and make indisputable that she was being a good Edgar Guest . She would buy a poinsettia for the innkeeper and pass a few solar day finding a formula for the best saccharide or gingerbread cookies . She would also mingle well .
Terrible Guest: Meredith Grey
Meredith has more tragediesthan most and since she grew up in such an dysphoric menage , it does n’t seem like she has any fond Christmas memory . It ’s tough to imagine Meredith attending a Christmas party with a big smiling and a tray full of homemade goodies .
Instead , Meredith might lay low and swim her sorrows in some drinks , or the holidays might make her think too much about Derek and she would go home early . She would be a pretty terrible guest because when Meredith is in a bad humor , not much can play her out of it . She adjudicate to have a vacation dinner in the sixth time of year " Holidaze " and it was a big job because no one got along . She would n’t need this holiday to turn sour as well .
Invite Over: Owen Hunt
In contrast to Meredith , Owen has also been through a heap but is somehow more optimistic than she is . Owen manages to be in a good mood a raft of the time and he would show up at a party , wish everyone felicitous holidays , and endeavor to have fun even if he was a piece haunted thinking about his patients or anything happen in his sexual love spirit .
Owen also gets along well with the other fictional character , so he would be able to make small talk with them and any other invitee . That ’s definitely a crucial part of any holiday gathering since no one wants awkward silences when they ’re trying to be festal .
Terrible Guest: Alex Karev
Alex and Meredith are best friendsand their trammel seems to stem from how cynical and dark they both are .
It ’s really difficult to visualise Alex going to a vacation party and receive a good sentence . It seems like he would show up , bark a hello , and proceed to ignore anyone attempting some cheer . If someone asked if he wanted a glass of eggnog , he would slump , and he would n’t keep anyone ’s flavour up . Alex should decidedly not be invited , as anyone would regret it .
Invite Over: Arizona Robbins
Arizona spread cheer every Clarence Day when she worked at the infirmary , making the lives of ghastly kids much happier and more fun than they would be without her .
It seems like Arizona would receive the vacation time of year with welcome branch . She could convince anyone to have a good time at a party and she would be so mad to get the invitation . Even if some of the others did n’t feel the same , she would n’t allow that stop her .
Terrible Guest: Amelia Shepherd
Amelia ’s moody personality makes sensation , as she ’s faced more pain in the neck than most people do in their life-time . She really does n’t seem like the type to say yes to a vacation party invitation .
Amelia is the kind of person who would probably rather mould extra time over the holidays rather of take a shit a raft of cookies or going to hear a caroling radical . She ’s too serious and too much of a workaholic to take meter off and really delight herself .
Invite Over: Jackson Avery
Jackson is a fan of romanceand he ’s got so much magic spell that anyone would be shiver to invite him over for the holidays .
Jackson was raised well and he knows how to carry on himself at a party or dinner , so he would n’t take part in any play . He would recount everyone to comport and then he would smile at the host and excuse for the others and their forged demeanour . While his friend might not love him for that , the host would definitely apprize it .
Terrible Guest: Jo Wilson
Jo has a long leaning of tragediesand she ’s got a prickly personality as a result . She ’s not the character to let her haircloth down and trip the light fantastic toe or sing along with some Christmas songs , and she has so much luggage that she carries it around everywhere that she goes .
Jo wish she could have a kinfolk and nail down down but until she can create her own Christmas traditions and find happiness , she does n’t seem like a great holiday client .
Invite Over: Miranda Bailey
Bailey is a hard workerwho has gone through it all , from a broken marriage to being diagnosed with OCD . She ’s a variety woman who cares deeply about the houseman and residents at the hospital , even if she can be a bit intimidating .
Pearl Mae Bailey would be the life of the party at any holiday gathering . She can be social when she require to be , and since the other characters eff her and consider her family , it would be a really meaningful evening .
Terrible Guest: April Kepner
April has made some awful choicesand she ’s not always a sweetheart . She also has had so much tension with Jackson that it ’s laborious to picture them lionize the season together at the same party .
While April cares about her patients and family and custom means everything to her , there are many moments on the show when she ’s in a horrible mood or she ’s too selfish . It does n’t seem like she can bury her troubles and enjoy the festal season , even if she would be glad to get a holiday political party invitation .
