Grey’s Anatomy

Grey ’s Anatomyis essentially a revolving door of bright and unparalleled characters , and has been for almost 15 years . Shonda Rhimes has an weird power to compose fiber who intrigue the audience while simultaneously charming the pant off of us .

Over the years , Rhimes has delivered some utterly wanted gems with the like of Mark Sloan , Arizona Robbins and of course , Cristina Yang . These characters will be think back forever in the hearts of the viewers . However , there were some masses who arrive at Grey - Sloan who were n’t looked upon as favourably . We ’re take a walk of life down remembering lane and expect at 5 characters who postulate more screen time ( and 5 who deserved less ) .

Deserved More - George O’Malley

Georgewas a darling doctor during his clock time on the show . He was clever and absolutely appealing and look out him farm into a confident and calm harm sawbones was a delight for the fans and sawbones likewise .

However , George ’s last season onGrey ’s Anatomywas a fleck of a letdown . To be sightly , Season 5 had an awful lot of exciting plot line to juggle . All that though signify that something had to give and so as a result , George ’s screen time was cut down by quite a lot . Since this was his last season , it would have been nice to see   him involved in a meaningful plot line to mark the end of his metre on the show .

Deserved Less - Erica Hahn

As one of the medical drama ’s first openly gay surgeons , Erica Hahn should have been a groundbreaking character . However , she was depict as an unfriendly , anti - societal doctor who did n’t get along with her compeer or her student .

She was undeservedly horrible to Cristina Yang , reject to instruct her properly and treating her like dirt even outside of study . But she behave worse with her lady friend Callie . When Callie told Hahn that she was bisexual , Hahn refused to accept this and left the show dead . There is no room for biphobia onGrey ’s Anatomy .

Deserved More - Carina DeLuca

Since her recent introduction to the serial publication in Season 14 , Carina has been one of the unexpected high spot of the show . She first started off by establishing a daily human relationship with fan - preferent sawbones Arizona Robbins . The two shortly grew close and shared a abbreviated but sweet-scented love story until Arizona pull up stakes for New York .

Since then , Carina has appeared less and less which is a ignominy because her human relationship with her brother Andrew is both uproarious and adorable . It ’s a pity she was n’t   made a serial publication regular for Season 16 but even so , with both Bailey and Amelia gestate , it ’s fair to say she likely wo n’t be going anywhere anytime shortly .

Deserved Less - Leah Murphy

Leah Murphy was one of the least likable fictitious character Grey ’s Anatomy ever bring out . She was whiney , needy and despiteful and seemed to sleep with everyone under the sun . She was mingy to the other interns and super sensible whenever a fourth-year surgeon would reprimand her .

This is why it was bizarre when she was made   a main fibre for Season 10 . She was a wearisome fiber who no one wanted around . What was even weirder was when she made a abbreviated reappearance in Season 13 for 6 sequence . There was literally no point bringing her back as it made zero sense and she bring nothing to the storyline in that season .

Deserved More - Penny Blake

Okay , this one is belike going to be extremely controversial … Many fans ( and doctors ) detest Penny during her meter on the show , mainly due to her theatrical role in Derek ’s death . However , Derek ’s demise was not her fracture ! She should have labour harder for an MRI but she was the only doctor who have it off to do one . Derek even admitted he liked her inside his oral sex .

She also had a strong personality , working with Meredith and Amelia , the two doctors who hated her most . She stood up for herself and was kind and compassionate and therefore she deserved more warmheartedness and screen clip than she perplex .

Deserved Less - All Interns After The Original Five

I do n’t know why butGrey ’s Anatomyseems to have it stuck in its head that all immature people are stupid , swollen , incompetent or all of the aforementioned . This is quite frankly extremely offensive . While the show started off bright with Meredith , Izzie , Cristina , Alex , and George , all the subsequent houseman were bad than useless .

With the elision of Ben , Jo , Steph , and Levi , every other intern was portrayed as vexatious , immature or just plain gross .   Because they were so irritate to look out , it is dubious that lover would be too overly rile by meet less of them .

Deserved More - Teddy Altman

Teddy was such an awful character during her first least sandpiper on the show . Part of the reason for this was thatGrey’smanaged to   retrieve other storylines for her beyond that of a love Triangulum between her , Owen and Cristina . In fact , the dynamic between Teddy and Cristina was splendid and hilarious to watch .

However , her late appearance in the series is more disappointing . She has n’t appeared in many episodes , despite being listed as a primary fiber from Season 15 onward . to boot , she just seems to go from one beloved Triangulum to another which is just getting tiresome . Hopefully , the fact that she ’s now also a mother will add together back the profundity that this theatrical role has been sorely wanting .

Deserved Less - Izzie Stevens

Izzie was a very popular part in the beginning of the show . However , during her late years onGrey ’s Anatomy , she began to become more than a small irritating . Gone was the medico who risked her job stitching up little girls in the rainfall and in her post was a woman who bully occupant and had ghost sex with her dead fiancé .

Her bad criminal offense by far though was leaving her husband Alex because she thought he render to get her burn . Not only did she jump to an irrational conclusion but she leave him without saying goodbye . viewer would have call back Izzie a pile more lovingly if she had just not appear in Season 6 .

Deserved More - Denny Duquette

In this instance , we ’re ignoring Denny ’s show in Season 5 . When Denny was first put in in the show ’s 2d season , it was clear that Miranda Bailey was very fond of him and spectator before long followed suit . However , none were more enamored with him than Izzie Stevens .

Watching the physician and patient go along to mash outrageously with each other was dead lovely and it remains one of the best kinship to hail out ofGrey ’s Anatomyto this sidereal day . Denny ’s death , although foreseeable , was completely heartbreaking and no one would traverse they would have loved to see more of Denny while he was alive .

Deserved Less - Sloan Riley

Ugh . Sloan Riley was the daughter of Mark Sloan and quite perchance one of the most irritating character on the show . She was selfish and shallow and was essentially the reason whyMark and Lexiesplit up . She also deceived Mark about herbaby , saying he could adopt his grandchild and then giving the baby up last minute .

Although Sloan only appeared on the show for a few episode , it was one of the least interesting and appealing electric arc of the season . It would have been advantageously all round if Sloan had just not appeared .
