The Way She Treated Her Father
grant , Thatcher Grey was a very tough founder , but Meredith ca n’t exact to be in the damage herself after how she handle him all her grownup life . In Season 15 , we found out Thatcher was dying and that Meredith had n’t been in contact with him for almost a decade .
While Thatcher abandon Meredith when she was youthful , it was chiefly her female parent ’s fault for have an amour and leaving her husband with Meredith in tow . However , Meredith tended to forgive her mother , but did n’t extend the same good manners to her father . She remained detached from Thatcher all her animation , and it was only in his concluding moments that she did n’t deal him with hostility .

She knew George was insecure about himself , but still go ahead and used him . Even after she hear to apologize , it did n’t come across as sincere enough . When they did patch up up , it was because George decided to be the bigger man . Meredith had already been induce bunch of flings by then , but George being on the inclination was an abuse to the poor guy .
