Cormac Hayes was one of the proficient new characters ofGrey ’s Anatomy . Sure , he was n’t exactly welcome to his colleagues at first but he cursorily became one of the best sawbones in the show . The fact that he was so likable made his late exit in season 18 all the more disconcerting .

In his first appearing , Hayes was gruff and quite unreached at times . Had the two contact each other in the beginning , they would have really facilitate each other to get past their worst personality traits . Hayes would have encouraged Callie to be herself and she would have persuaded him to have a little fun .
Stephanie Edwards
During her time at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital , Stephanie had plenty of major storylines , including her final one where she was trapped in a hospital fire . However , she never really got a full love story storyline , omit her abbreviated but heroic love with Kyle Diaz .

However , that lasted less than a season . Had Steph stay put for a few more seasons , she would have met Hayes and Muriel Sarah Spark would have flown . Unlike most character on this list , almost all of Maggie ’s major plot line have been about her relationships . In season 11 , she dated Ethan who then bequeath her and got engage to someone else . Maggie then moved on to Andrew DeLuca , then Nathan Riggs , then Jackson Avery , before finally finding Winston Ndugu .
