These were the eccentric that fans loved and enjoyed watching uprise through the seasons only for the writers to put them through an impossible amount of trauma or simply break them completely before writing them off the show .
Callie Torres (Grey’s Anatomy)

The lead ofReign , Mary , Queen of Scots , deserve well . Despite this show being root in historic issue , which is graspable , it took some liberties with the plot line , and Mary ’s journeying was not the felicitous one .

If the writers were intent on make Jane and Rafael the end game of the show , Michael stilldidn’t merit to be regale like this . The only intellect they brought him back was to solidify Jane choosing Rafael over Michael because he was alive and Rafael was no longer the second choice .
Bonnie Bennett (The Vampire Diaries)
Bonnie Bennett fromThe Vampire Diarieswas mistreat and used as a gimmick by everyone around her for several seasons , forced to sacrifice herself and her well - being over and over . Not to mention that nobody even notice she was all in for an entire summertime .
When she finally find her happiness and everything she yearn for in Enzo , itwas take awayfor a dramatic effect to help one of the principal characters ( again ) . Bonnie Bennett and the actress who portrayed her , Kat Graham , both deserved better by Godhead and everyone who maltreat them .
Logan Echolls (Veronica Mars)
After seasons of character development , Logan was finally left in a effective place in the fan - funded pic they did after the series . He was in the army , he reconciled with the making love of his life Veronica and life were mostly secure after he managed to obviate execution charges .
But the revival meeting of the show aim all that by from Logan . So all the grueling piece of work he did , all the prescribed changes he made - none of it matter . Because they killed him off for apparently no undecomposed reason . They vote down him off in the last episode of the revival , soon after he got marital to Veronica , so they could n’t even say the actor wanted to leave and they were forced to do that . A felicitous ending was something Logan merit , and they could n’t even give him that .
Buffy Summers (Buffy The Vampire Slayer)
The lead eccentric who in the end , got empty by almost every single champion she had . Though Buffy ’s plot line was pretty realistic and her working at the fast - food restaurant to earn money was a nice tactual sensation — it was furious that she was n’t paid anything for press evil — her liveliness feel importantly miserable .
She had to take care of everyone , she could n’t be with the man she loved , she had to sacrifice her entire life-time to crusade fiend , waspainfully resurrect from the all in , and in the destruction they did n’t trust her . It feel like she deserved so much more from life , from her friend and her writers .
Spencer Reid (Criminal Minds)
For someone as blue-blooded as Spencer Reid , he sure as shooting has been put through the wringer . He was kidnapped , tortured , dealt with PTSD and drug dependence , fall in making love with someone who got murder , his mother had schizophrenic psychosis and he perpetually battled with the thought process that he ’d eventually develop it as well . And then he got kidnap again by a cultus .
ThroughoutCriminal Minds , fans could see most of the squad find some sort of joy in their life , but Spencer could n’t seem to . His happy moments were very disproportionate to his tragical ones , and one ca n’t assist but think he deserved a little more . It just seems that every time Meredith look to have her feet on solid ground , something happens and knocks her over . Watching a lead persona go through thing is obviously the full stop of the show , but is there a point where it just becomes unrealistic ? Meredith has been carrying this show for 18 seasons . Her shoulders must be tired and she deserves to sweep off to some deserted island and never go through a trauma again .
